CIRCUS-13 PRESENTS THE UNCANNY X-MEN, episode 4: The Resurrection of the Flesh, written by Chris Claremont.

A TON of characters this time around, some small parts with only a couple lines each, some that are big for the next 3-4 episodes and one recurring character being recast.

Audition deadline - We'll give this one a few weeks to make sure everyone who wants to get in on the mutant mayhem. So we'll set it for September 14th.

Recording and Contact information -

-Record in 44100hz 16-bit Stereo MP3 or wav is fine.
-Save the lines as "charactername_yourname_linenumber.mp3" (ex: Wolverine_Jester_01.mp3)
-Please put multiple files in a ZIP or RAR file and label it as "yourname_Xmen_auds.zip"
-Send your auditions to jester@circus13productions.com
-SOUND QUALITY IS A FACTOR! If you send me files with a lot of puffs and pops and background noise, you'll get rejected out of hand. A low steady computer fan noise is fine, I can deal with that.
-And please don't bug me about your audition. Don't ask if there's any way to change it. Don't ask if I got it. Don't ask ANYTHING, please! I'll keep a list on here of the ones that I get and will update it every couple of days. So if you sent it to me, give it a couple days before you ask if I got it. Thanks.

CHARACTERS

MALES:
Name: Andreas Von Strucker (FENRIS)
Age: early 20's and up
Bio: Andreas Von Strucker is the son of Baron Strucker and the twin brother of Andrea Von Strucker. While in-utero, Andreas and his sister were bio-enginered to have superpowers. As a result they must be in skin to skin contact with each other to use their powers. He only has two lines this episode, but MUCH more in the coming ones.
Audition line 1: Indeed, you do not. Our agreement is still binding, Matsuo, never fear. We need your resurrected champion... if we are to become the upstart dominant.
Audition line 2: Well?
Name: Cyborg 1
Age: any
Bio: cyborgs looking to capture the X-men
Audition line 1: The woman is down. Open fire on the man.
Audition line 2: Take the others!
Audition line 3: Well done, my brethen.
Audition line 4: Hurry! Get them into the ambulance. Our disguises will not stand up to close observation.
Audition line 5: There is someone in the cab... a friend to these X-men...

Age: any
Bio: cyborgs looking to capture the X-men
Audition line 1: Now!
Audition line 2: Nothing-- human or otherwise-- could have escaped that blast.
Audition line 3: Quickly! A taxi approaches.
Audition line 4: Silence! Hurry!

Name: Cyborg 3
Age: any
Bio: cyborgs looking to capture the X-men
Audition line 1: Silence the small male first! He is the most dangerous!
Audition line 2: ...Fell somewhat short of their reputation.

Name: Cyborg 4
Age: any
Bio: cyborgs looking to capture the X-men
Audition line 1: The big one! He is not human!
Audition line 2: It would seem the fabled X-men...

Name: Man 1 & 2
Age: mid 30's up
Bio: scientists working for Fenris Corporation, all end up dying horribly at the hands of Omega Red. These are their only lines, I will use the best ones. Lines 1-3 are Man 1, line 4 is Man 2's only line except for the screaming.
Audition line 1: And is their fate any less horrible...that it was by their own choosing? Twenty men die...that one may find a a new purchase on life.
Audition line 2: All systems show nominal. Better than we'd hoped. In fact, his life functions are stable. The mutant "death factor" seems well within tolerable...
Audition line 3: Ready. Proceed.
Audition line 4 (Man 2): (terrified) Wait, is that... NO!
Audition line 5 (multiple men): (screams of pain and terror)

Name: OMEGA RED
Age: mid 30's up (kinda of odd age, like Wolverine)
Bio: During the Cold War, Arkady Rossovich was forced into Russia's version of Weapon X. The end result, was Omega Red.
Audition line 1: I... Live...? How? Who has brought me back from the dark domain of death? Who has summoned Omega Red?
Audition line 2: No, in this you were correct. Arkaday is dead. Now I am Omega Red. It is you who are dead.

Name: Shinobi Shaw
Age: late 20's and up
Bio: Son of Sebastian Shaw, joined the Upstarts after allegedly assassinating his father, later attempted to take control of the Hellfire Club. This is his only line, but he has more in the coming episodes.
Audition line 1: I have, my Russian friend. But, do not search your memory for any trace of my face. You do not know me, but I believe you know... this face...?


FEMALES:
Name: Andrea Von Strucker (FENRIS)

Name: Jubilation Lee (JUBILEE)
Age: 14-16
Bio: Jubilation Lee is a Chinese-American girl, and was born in Beverly Hills, California, where she lived with her wealthy immigrant parents. An immensely talented gymnast, she was believed to have the potential to participate in the Olympic Games. After her parents were killed Jubilee ran away to live at the closest thing that felt like home, the mall. While there she stole to survive and was a constant annoyance to the mall rent-a-cops. Jubilee's powers included the ability to generate explosive energy sparks. A teenaged "mall rat," she was the X-Men's youngest member in the early 1990s, often playing sidekick to Wolverine. She eventually joined the junior team Generation X.
Audition line 1: WHOA! Like--that was pretty fast for someone who agreed not to use her powers, Rogue!
Audition line 2: Which is our best reason for coming! But...Beast, you can't go into town looking... (beat) ...Like a big blue fuzzball?

Name: ROGUE re-cast
Age: early to mid 20's
Bio: where to begin, she has such a long and lush history. At this point, she still has the absorbed powers of Ms. Marvel (flight, strength, invulnerability) and her absorption powers. No touching of skin to skin is still her way of thinking. Her love for Gambit is still growing.
Audition line 1: All right! Enough! We agreed not t'use our mutant powers in this game, just like Jubilee said... But Gambit's powers include natural agility. How can we tell if he's usin' them or not?
Audition line 2: NO! Keep your slimy paws off'a me, Gambit! You know ah can't make flesh to flesh contact with you, without drainin' all your powers anyway!

Name: Taxi Driver
Age: any
Bio: Hispanic taxi driver
Audition line 1: Dios! Look at that mess! Maybe we should...
